Almagro is a middle-class residential area, quieter and very Argentinean with a good central location and plenty of public transport into the city.
Along its avenues a traffic of retail and commerce flows. With less tourist attractions than its neighbors Palermo and Recoleta, unspoiled, it suits for more of an authentic Porteño experience.
Within Almagro exists a less commercial scene of tango hot spots, intimate Jazz bars, and alternate theatre.
